FAROS is a group of young Catholic adults in their 20s and 30s, single or married, who live and work in the Arlington Heights area. We are sponsored by three Arlington Heights parishes: St. Edna, St. James and Our Lady of the Wayside. Join us as we gather together for a common search for meaning, wisdom, and shared insight. We gather regularly in small groups for faith-sharing, at monthly mass at St. Edna, at Faros social get-togethers, and at other young adult or parish activities and events.

Theology-on-Tap is a four-week summer program for young adults, college age through the thirties, both married and single. It is a weekly opportunity for a parish to gather young adults for a speaker, conversation and theology.  "Tap," as it is frequently called, began in 1981 at one parish.  Since then, the program has expanded to over 70 sites in the Chicagoland area, 16 states, and 4 countries.

For 2009, Theology on Tap will be hosted four consecutive Wednesdays at St. Edna Parish; July 15, 22, 29 and August 5. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. and speakers begin at 7:30 p.m. Listen to dynamic speakers discussing exciting, relevant topics, enjoy hanging out with other young adults with similar interests and faith.
