Happenings

The Parish Life Commission provides events so that people can look at each other, up close, talk to one another, and find out what is going on in one another's lives. Our principal concern is to nurture a hospitable Roman Catholic Christian Community for all through social gatherings, spiritual meetings, and service activities. We aspire to help all of us, appreciate the joys and challenges going on in our lives realizing that it is Christ's love and grace making all things possible!

EASTER EGG HUNT/BASKET BLESSING

An Easter Egg hunt for younger children is held on Holy Saturday behind the Gathering Place followed by blessing of Easter baskets and food in Church. Join us on Saturday April 4, 2009 at 1:30 p.m.

Children, ages 10 and under are welcome to participate in the hunt while parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles - everyone - is invited to join in the fun. Afterward, take your goodies to church for the Easter basket blessing.

At the Blessing, learn the meaning of the Easter Egg, the Horseradish, Bread, Ham, Parsley, etc. that we often all incorporate into our Easter celebrations. Prepare a basket, bring it to be blessed and begin a tradition in your family if you do not already do so.
