Lent 2011

Stewardship Tree

During the season of Lent, our “Parish Commitment to Spiritual Stewardship” will unfold. We will ask for your spiritual commitments to Prayer, Sacrifice and Mercy. These commitments are written on leaves and hung on Stewardship Trees in the back of Church and in the school as a visible display of Stewardship in our Parish. They can be made as a family or individually. You may make one or more commitments. Parishioners are asked to take a two part leaf and write your spiritual commitment on both, place one on the Tree and take one home with you. (You need not put your name on it.) Our Stewardship Trees will start out barren on Ash Wednesday and become full of leaves as OLW and REP students, and parishioners place their Stewardship commitments on the Trees during Lent.
