BAPTISM

Baptism is celebrated on the first and third Sunday of each month at 1:00 p.m. in the Church. A Baptismal Preparation session is required before Baptism and helps prepare couples who are having their first child baptized. Contact the Parish Office for further information and to make arrangements.

Baptism and Beyond extends a welcome to families with new babies into our community and helps them feel connected to our parish with periodic mailings.

MARRIAGE

Contact the Parish Office at least six months ahead of a preferred wedding date to allow for the necessary preparation. Couples must attend marriage preparation. These are offered through Our Lady of the Wayside Engaged Couples Ministry or through the Archdiocese.

RECONCILIATION

Reconciliation is offered Saturdays from 11 a.m. to noon in the Church. Appointments may be made for other times by contacting one of the priests.

First Reconciliation is made during the second grade. Preparation is part of the Youth Religious Education Program (REP). Contact the Religious Education Office for more information.

FIRST EUCHARIST

First Communion is made during the second grade. Preparation is part of the Youth Religious Education Program (REP). Contact the Religious Education Office for more information.

CONFIRMATION

Confirmation is celebrated during the eighth grade. Click here for details on the Our Lady of the Wayside Confirmation program.

ANOINTING OF THE SICK

Homebound or ill persons who wish to receive this sacrament should contact the Parish Office. Anointing of the Sick is also celebrated twice a year, usually in the spring and fall, at the 5 p.m. Saturday Mass.
